WHO WE ARE

Many employees and association members lack options for competitive health insurance and dental coverage. Unlike many  other group plans, Corsana is available to all individuals on a voluntary basis. Eligible enrollees are offered coverage guaranteed no medical questions asked. Enrollees from an endorsing organization are guaranteed a higher level of health care coverage.


Launched in 2011, Corsana is modelled after Health Care Providers Group Insurance Plan (HCP) which offers part time and causal hospital employees a similar program across Canada.

WHO WE ARE

Unlike virtually any other group plan, Corsana is available to all individuals on a voluntary basis. Launched in 2011, Corsana is modeled after the Health Care Providers Group Insurance Plan (HCP) which is offered exclusively to part-time and casual hospital employees across Canada. After the launch of HCP in 1997, the parent company HMA The BENEFITS People (HMA) quickly identified that there was a gap in the industry and thus Corsana was formed.

As a proprietary product, HMA works behind the scenes to develop and market the product alongside Green Shield Canada (GSC) who administers the benefits.
