BECOMING AN ENDORSING ORGANIZATION OR ASSOCIATION

Do you have employees and association members not covered by a group health or dental plan?

Do you have employees losing their benefits at retirement?

With the growing costs of medical expenses and the need to protect their income, many employees who are not covered under a traditional group benefit plan lack cost-effective options for health and dental coverage.

The Solution

Corsana is a unique program of true group benefits specifically designed for employees, retirees and association members not receiving benefits as part of their compensation and are lacking the protection of comprehensive health and dental coverage. Unlike virtually any other group plan, it is available to individual employees, retirees and association members and their families on a voluntary basis. There is NO COST  for an organization or association to endorse the Corsana Group Benefits Plan, as the program is fully paid by the employee. The Corsana Group benefits plan is offered exclusively to employees, retirees and members of an endorsing organization or association.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does it mean to be an endorsing organization?

It means that by agreeing to communicate the availability of the Corsana plan, your employees, retirees or association members have access to benefits offered exclusively to endorsing organizations or associations. Employees, retirees and association members receive more robust health coverage, should they apply within 60 days of hire date, within 60 days of becoming an association member or 60 days of loss of group health coverage.

  • What is required of our team should we endorse Corsana?

Your endorsement begins with a 60-day initial implementation during which any eligible employees and association members will be extended our Complete or Complete Plus health coverage guaranteed.

Additionally, any new hires, new association members, or employees who lose their benefits or future retirees will be offered their own 60-day open window so that they can benefit from your endorsement too.

What we ask of your team is active ongoing support in communicating the availability of the plan to your employees and association members at the time which they become eligible for our plan. We will provide all plan information, marketing materials and messaging to distribute to prospective employees and then we take it from there.

  • Is there any added cost to the our organization or association?

No! Monthly premiums are the responsbility of the plan member (employee/retiree/association member).

  • What employees are eligible for the Corsana product?

Eligible employees are employees or association members not receiving benefits as part of their compensation. Employees or association members who are retiring or losing benefits are also eligible to receive coverage through Corsana.

Employees, retirees or association members must be from an endorsing organization or association. Employees or association members must be actively at work and retirees must have retired from active employment (not on any kind of leave like a disability).

  • How does Corsana differ from any other individual health and dental plan?

Individual plans have slightly different rules, and although Corsana is offered on a voluntary basis like an individual plan, we function like a true group benefits program. This allows us to offer more robust coverage to new hires or new association members within a 60 day open window.

  • Does Corsana include Life, Long Term Disability and Accidental Death, Disease & Dismemberment benefits?

While the Corsana plan doesn't inlucde these benefits, depending on your organizations size, occupations and employee incomes, you may be eligible to add it for your team members.
